Currently, the union-view Melvyl (http://melvyl.worldcat.org) and the 10 campus WCL instances are intermittently experiencing problems. Symptoms include getting a "database not responding message" (see below), being unable to cannot to the catalog entirely, and inconsistencies in search results. OCLC Support has been notified of the problem. Currently, they do not have an estimate of when the instances will be working correctly again. CDL will send a follow-up notice when we are informed that the problems have been resolved. Please share this with your colleagues.
