We've received reports from the southern UC campuses that they are unable
to access NLM's PubMed database.  It turns out that the NIH (National
Institutes of Health) web site is experiencing difficulty with their
network routing.  Consequently, no locations in Southern California can
reach any of the NIH web resources, such as PubMed, DocLine, etc.

The NIH is working on the problem, but as yet do not have an estimate of
when these resources will be available again.  Please share this
information with your colleagues.
