This just in from East View:

We would like to inform you about a scheduled service upgrade of the
CNKI platform, to
version KNS5.2. This release will include several new improvements, many
of which
were specifically requested by users.

To accommodate the upgrade, the English-language interface of CNKI will
be
temporarily unavailable from
Dec. 24, 2007 - January 1, 2008.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause. The Chinese interface,
however, will be available without
interruption throughout, and is also accessed via the URL
http://china.eastview.com.
