This release responds to several minor error reports in the area of control
table updating, and is, believe it or not, not urgent. The problems noted
below are addressed by r1443:
- A time-on-call rate could not be changed to zero.
- When a failure occurs during a call to the utility program that is used
for accessing the DB2 TOT table (PPTOTUTL), the wrong message is
issued.
- The PPP854 program that splits control table update transactions
apart depending on whether they are to be processed by PPP010
or by PPP004 (vsam or DB2-only) was not properly handling comment
records for PPP004. It inappropriately groups them with the vsam
transactions.
There are no table updates. Ok to install? (Obviously we're giving
this less priority than the hot 1458, 1459, and 1461 releases, but
testing is complete for some sites.)
