Release 1496 addresses a problem that was reported to us by Santa Cruz.
When you view a PAN that includes the FLSA Indicator code, you'll see a
text interpretation as well as the actual code. For PANs viewed in the
CICS environment, the text is appropriately displayed as 'Non-Ex' for 0
and 'Exempt' for 1, but for PANs viewed on the web, the text is reversed.
Both sets of text are assigned in program PPNTAPPT, which is modified
in r1496 to correct the web display.
Currently web PAN is installed in production for Riverside, SC, SB, and
Hastings, and therefore, with the exception of Hastings which does not use
PAN at all, these are the sites for whom installation of r1496 is urgent.
Please note that the contents of PAN notices are "manufactured" at the
time an update is performed, not assembled at viewing time, and therefore
installation of the release will not fix the errors in historical PANs, but it
will prevent assignment of erroneous text in the future.
Ok to install?
