Back in r1138 from 1997 (the "Genericized" Full Accounting Unit, or
"Blob", release), program PPWETRA was modified to increase the size
of a work areas used for online ETRA transaction data. Basically, the
FAU length was increased in r1138, so every place in which it was stored
had to be made larger to accommodate it. It was only recently discovered
that copymember CPWSTHFC wasn't modified to correspond to the change
in PPWETRA, and that's what r1491 addresses.
There are no table updates, and only the CPWSTHFC copymember is
modified. Installation includes recompilation of 17 unmodified programs
that use it.
Base Payroll advises that there is a potential for truncation of the data
until the fix is implemented, but they also indicate that they don't
currently have the problem. Still, we should install the release.
May we have your ok to proceed?
