Release 1488 adds START data (begin and end date, and percent time)
to the Unified Union Reporting Files produced by program PPP770.
The extra fields will be included in both the monthly (first week of the
month) and regular weekly files.

Not surprisingly, increases in the record lengths of the union files and
the union history file are needed, and that has two consequences.
One is that the old history file must be converted to the new record length,
with spaces in the START fields, and for that, a one-time program is
issued.  The other is that implementation of r1488 must be synchronized
among all of the payroll sites, to happen at the same point in time.
To meet that requirement, r1488 is date-mandated to be implemented
     - after the Monday May 26th run of PPP770
     - and before the Monday June 2nd run, which happens to be a
       monthly-type run

There are no table updates.

May we have your ok to install at the designated point in time?
Hastings, although we don't run PPP770 for you (no unions), we'll
still need to install the modified program code, though the one-time
program will be unnecessary.
