Greetings;

We received the above release for implementation at all campuses prior to the ACA Standard measurement process, currently scheduled for November 21, 2016. The release makes changes, outlined in SR101232, regarding the functioning of the standard measurement process. While there are no stated changes to the functional use of the process, there are changes reflecting campus feedback on the prior year process.

These are the changes listed in the release:
  •	A recently re-hired employee with breaks in service not greater than 26 weeks is to be treated as a continuing employee.
  •	Evaluate employees’ leaves of absence and earnings so that full-time status will be derived more appropriately for this population.
  •	Remove processing that downgrades an employee’s benefit level (BELI) to 5 and remove the creation of the ineligible mailing file.
  •	Add additional columns to the tab-delimited reports.
  •	Add two new display only fields to the IINS and IINP CICS screens (Primary Status Qualification Date and Secondary Status Qualification Date).
  •	Address issues that had been identified with earlier releases and incorporate suggestions from local campus units.
  •	Add the ACA reports from measurement processes to the ACA Web application for viewing (See JCL changes in the installation instructions document).

Your approval for install would be greatly appreciated.

As always, if you have any comments, questions or concerns, please let us know.

Thanks!
