As you know, most collective bargaining unit codes consist of a letter
followed by 'X', e.g., 'RX', 'TX', 'SX', 'LX', and so on, and those codes are
used uniformly across payroll sites. There are, however, a couple of
exceptions in which the unit code consists of a letter followed by
the campus number. An example of this type is 'An' for the Academic
Senate unit. At Santa Cruz, the actual value would be 'A7' vs. 'A5'
at Riverside, etc.

When TCT transactions, whether from the Corporate Title Code System
or created locally, are processed to add or change the 'special'
site-specific unit codes, they're keyed as 'letter-blank' in '3301'
transactions, and edit program PPCTTCIE inserts the location code,
taken from the CCR (campus control record), into the second position.
This is already happening for An and Zn units. Now in r1514, PPCTTCIE
is modified to do the same for the Mn (Housestaff Association) unit.

I think that, so far, only San Diego has employees in a Housestaff
unit, but as usual we'll need to install the release for all sites to keep
our program code up to date.

There are no table updates for this release.

Ok to install?
