We have received the following message from Springer-Verlag. The North American server located in New York is experiencing problems. They hope to have the problem resolved by tommorrow morning. Margery ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are currently experiencing problems with the North American LINK server at http://link.springer-ny.com. Our technical staff are aware of the problem and working toward a timely resolution. In the meantime, we are setting-up links to direct traffic to the German mirror server at http://link.springer.de/ If you want to go ahead and use this link before the redirect is active, you can do that. The redirect will only work for traffic going to the LINK homepage. If your journals are configured to point to the individual url for each journal's home page, the redirect will not function. You will need to manually change the urls for these titles. The structure of the urls are the same. For instance, if you are directing Abdominal Imaging to: http://link.springer-ny.com//link/service/journals/00261/index.htm you will need to change this to: http://link.springer.de/link/service/journals/00261/index.htm Margery Tibbetts California Digital Library University of California 415 20th Street - 4th floor Oakland, CA 94612-2901 (510)-987-0581 fax - (510)-893-5212
