I am happy to say that the problem we alerted you about in October (see below) has been resolved and the UC-eLinks button is back for the OCLC First Search databases. Thanks for your patience during the past weeks. Please share this information with your colleagues.

OCLC recently made a change to their system which disabled the functioning of UC-eLinks when using Internet Explorer as the web browser.  The problem does not occur in Netscape.  OCLC is working on correcting this.

In the meantime, CDL has changed the UC-eLinks indicator from the orange UC-eLinks button (7bd188.jpg) to a simple text link (7bd1ce.jpg), which does work in both Netscape and Internet Explorer, for all the OCLC FirstSearch databases.

As soon as OCLC has corrected the underlying problem, CDL will change the text link back to the orange UC-eLinks button.  Please share this information with your colleagues.
