On 29 June, the following message will be posted to IEEE Xplore:

"The IEEE Xplore site is scheduled to undergo an upgrade on Wednesday, 30 June, from approximately 6:00 AM-10:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time.  Users may encounter brief service disruptions during this time." 

On 30 June, IEEE will release IEEE Xplore 1.8, which supports a new limited download option developed for corporations called IEEE Enterprise. Current IEEE online subscribers will not be impacted by this release. IEEE Xplore users will notice a new home page menu bar containing a link on the lower left side, which states, "Access the IEEE Enterprise File Cabinet." If one of your users clicks on the link they will be told that the cabinet is not part of their subscription.

Current IEL subscribers already have access to all of the content that IEEE Enterprise offers and more. IEEE Enterprise provides access for businesses with a limited need for online information.
