Spring is a busy time as WEST embarks on disclosure of shared print retentions from its eighth archiving cycle. WEST’s project team and governance groups also continue to work on 2019 program assessment and we anticipate that a membership-wide survey will be distributed in June – more to come on that! Development of enhancements for WEST’s decision support tool, AGUA, continues apace and will extend through September. As you will see below, there are a number of upcoming opportunities in May and June to learn more about, or refresh your knowledge of, WEST. Join us for the WEST Member Meeting in June during ALA Annual in Washingon, D.C. or register for one of the upcoming webinars outlined below.

Ø There are three webinars coming up in May and June for WEST members! The first, on May 15 at 12pm PT, is an overview of the Journal Retention and Needs Listing (JRNL) tool, a gap-filling facilitation software to which WEST members have access to further support their local journal review projects. Two other webinars, occurring in late May and early June will be general WEST Program Refreshers hosted by the WEST Project Team.
