2020 is starting off with a flurry of activity in WEST and the shared print community! WEST has wrapped up analysis of the 2019 Member Assessment and has produced a report on the findings, and the WEST governance committees met in Oakland, CA, for a strategic planning session that discussed the assessment findings and identified a number of recommendations and next steps for the WEST program. Additionally, WEST has concluded its annual Executive Committee election, and is pleased to welcome two new members plus one continuing member to the group, as well as a new member to the Operations and Collections Council. Finally, ALA Midwinter is quickly approaching, where the WEST project team will be discussing these findings and outcomes as well as participating in a number of other discussions with and about the shared print community.
