Release 1564 responds to a report from San Francisco of page numbering
overflows (can not accommodate more than 9,999 pages). To address this
problem, r1564 increases the size of the page number field in copymember
CPWSPSHR. That's the only code modified in r1564. There are no
table updates.
CPWSPSHR defines a standardized heading routine that is used throughout
a large part, but not all, of the system. Interestingly, the installation
instructions require recompilation of only unmodified programs PPP470
and PPP480, so presumably those are the ones that experienced the
overflows.
Only a large site would have encountered the overflow situation, and I'm
not sure any of ours were affected. Despite that, we should install the
release for everyone. Ok to proceed after we've tested?
