We have received the above release for implementation is your instances of PPS.

This release will modify the changes in R2033 (From June of 2013) as follows:

"Release 2033 (June 2012) modified PPS so that benefits coverage ends on the last day of an employee’s separation month, except for a short list of separation codes where the prior practice of an extra month of benefits coverage continues.  Service Request 83791 asks that the “IT” separation reason code be added to the list.  When employees transfer between locations, it is operationally difficult to take benefits deductions in the employee’s first month at the new location."

Functionally it addresses the noted issue around inter campus transfers.

There is no specific date requirement for this change, and it can be applied at your leisure.
