As you are aware we have received this release from development for immediate implementation.  

As you are aware, the changes related to the UCRP Post Employment Benefits project that are currently the subject of sensitive ongoing discussions with the unions.  Please limit your exposure of this change.

The change itself creates and supports a new set of retirement codes to identify the 2013 Tier of pension benefits applicable to employees who become UCRP eligible on or after July 1, 2013.  These Retirement Codes should map to a set of UCRP interface codes and transmit to UCRP in the PPS-UCRP interface process. In addition, modifications will be made to create a new set of employee-paid supplemental disability plan rates applicable to employees in the 2013 Tier.

Given the complexity of the implementation we would like to get moving as soon as possible, and would like to support any local tests that you feel would improve your confidence in the release.  If you have specific testing that you would like to have executed please contact your campus support person with the details.

I will also require your approvals to implement this release prior to the July dates.
