Over time, as more and more types of transactions flow into
PPS via the nightly 'IVRNH' file, new batches have been added.
Most recently, on September 13th, a batch number 011
was announced by Base Payroll for "transactions sent from
the UCOP web de-enrollment process for ineligible dependents."
The nightly EDB update process that reads in these transactions
was defined to expect no more than 10 batches. The consequence
is that statistics are not printed on the control report for the 11th
batch. The transactions are, however, successfully processed.
In investigating this issue, it was also discovered that an internal
counter in the range 1-10 was being displayed rather than the
actual batch number. R1665 modifies two programs and one
copymember to raise the maximum number of batches to 25
and to display true batch numbers.
There are no table updates.
Ok to install?
