Release 1617 consists of an enhancement to retroactive range/merit
processing initiated by a request from Santa Cruz.  Only program
PPP940, which performs reporting for retro processes, is modified.
Currently it produces a report, PPP9408, of Employee Earnings
Distributions Excluded.  After installation of r1617 it will have the
ability to present that same information as a tab-delimited data file
that you can download for local use.  For those sites that are
interested, we will name the file  PP*.PPP940.DELIMRPT.USR
and it will be produced in the PRLM1 phase.

There are no table updates.

Please let us know if we can proceed with installation of r1617
and whether you would like us to produce the new tab delimited
data file for you.  If not, we'll just dummy it out.
