Subject: Merritt ingest paused from 9-11am on Thurs 11/10/2016

 

We’re in the process of migrating data to the new storage node at Amazon S3. Once this migration is complete, content in publicly available collections will use the new Amazon S3 storage node as the primary source.

 

We’d like to do this tomorrow (Thurs Nov 10) from 9-11am PT. We’ve actually replicated all the data, but will need to pause ingest in order to update some of the database tables. If possible, please do not submit any ingests during this time, although nothing bad will happen if you do—it will simply sit in the ingest queue until after the maintenance is complete.
