This past weekend (March 17-18, 2018) the Wiley Online Library (WOL) transitioned to the Atypon Literatum platform. The top level Wiley Online Library domain will remain the same, but uses a secure URL (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/). Society partners such as AGU and Anthrosource will use the same platform, but will have a subdomain prefixing the main Wiley URL. Unfortunately, resources (like ebooks) where the links to the online content are based on DOIs are not re-directing correctly. CDL reported this problem with the DOIs not re-directing correctly (tagged High Importance) to Wiley yesterday. Thus far, we have not received a response from Wiley customer support staff. Until the problem is resolved, the simplest work-around is... When you click a Wiley Online Library dx.doi.org link in a catalog record (for example, http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/9781119178361), the URL in the web browser's address bar changes to https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/9781119178361, and the resulting ebook homepage does not include any way to access the online content. See below. [cid:image001.png@01D3C054.C9F1F6E0] If you manually change the "abs" portion in the center of the URL to "book" in the web browser's address bar (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/book/10.1002/9781119178361), the URL works correctly and the online content displays.
