Dear Scholarly Communications CKG chairs,

Please share this Tools for Systemwide Teams/Groups Survey (see link below) with all members of your systemwide team/group.

Survey link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScPSXZAwSgIVRhfa7ItKEy_f2FhV_23Av4oNQ9YeNYywjraWw/viewform?usp=sf_link

This survey pertains to tools used by groups & teams doing systemwide work such as project teams, governance groups, committees, CKGs, shared service teams, etc.

The purpose of this survey is to gather information that will inform user stories/requirements for various collaborative work tools and platforms across the UC Libraries. Our work is not intended to evaluate products with the goal of creating limitations or specific mandates. You should not feel as if you have to “defend” a particular product. Rather, our charge and ultimate report to the Direction & Oversight Committee (DOC) is intended to recommend pathways for collaborative work and to identify sustainable solutions. We deeply appreciate your willingness to explore how we collaborate in virtual spaces and to help our group in its evaluation.

Any survey responses shared in our final report to DOC will be anonymized. Any personally identifying information will be anonymized. The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete.

The deadline for responses is February 3. (Chairs – let us know if a barrier arises and individuals in your group need more time.)

Note: If you are a member of more than one group/team, you will need to complete the survey separately for each group/team. The survey link is the same for all groups.

You will receive an email confirmation with your responses. CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL. You can edit your responses as needed by clicking on the Edit link in the email.

If you have any questions, contact us at [log in to unmask]

Respectfully,

Roger Smith, Chair
