In email from a faculty, they asked if the library could ensure perpetual access to the back catalog of Design Studies a premier journal in the field The journal is looking for a new home because of mismanagement by Elsevier,.

The entire editorial board has resigned, the Design Research Society, which founded and sponsors the journal, has severed ties, and it looks like many authors are withdrawing papers in the pipeline.

it will be vital for us to retain access to previous issues, as it really has been the leading design research journal for more than 40 years and contains so much of the field's foundational work in its archives.
