Hello, SCCKG colleagues! Allegra and I have put together a survey<https://ucsf.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0V6M7R1DZSlUfOK> to collect data from all UC libraries about open access funds. By this we mean a pool of funds where individual faculty, students, or other campus individuals can request funds to help them pay for article processing charges, book processing charges, or open educational resources.

We also encourage your campus to respond even if you don't have a currently operating OA fund. This survey should take about 20 minutes to complete if you have a current fund, and no more than 5 minutes if you do not have a current fund. We will report and share out the results of the survey.

Please have one individual from each UC library complete the survey on behalf of that campus. If the SCCKG member(s) for your campus is not the designated responder, please share this email with that individual. You may need to consult other individuals in the library for some questions. A downloadable version<https://ucsf.box.com/s/xx0cdkepqybgnke4565ej0ipbf4hvrbj> of the survey can be found on UCSF Box to help the designated responder prepare responses in advance. If you have any questions, please contact Allegra and me: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Please complete the survey<https://ucsf.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0V6M7R1DZSlUfOK> by Friday the 18th of February if possible and let us know if you need additional time.

Thank you in advance for your participation!

Cheers,

Anneliese Taylor and Allegra Swift
